A beautiful handmade sterling silver pendant necklace featuring a unique freeform sapphire which changes colour with the light - ranging from a pale purple to various shades of burgundy and beyond! The gorgeous, triangular gemstone has a checkerboard cut and is encased in a bezel setting. The hand textured design on the side and back of the bezel adds a rustic feel to the piece whilst the dark patina enhances the texture and gives an aged 'vintage' look. The pendant hangs from an 18" sterling silver chain which has also been oxidised (darkened).
